Barberry Root
Barberry root, locally known as Simbloo in Urdu/Punjabi and Daruharidra in Ayurveda, comes from the plant Berberis aristata or Berberis vulgaris.
It is a medicinal shrub found in Himalayan regions and Northern Pakistan/India.
