Description

Black Dammar is also known as Sanders, is usually found in humid forests. It is tall to about 40 meters and its altitudes is ranging from about 750 to 1400 meters.

Its leaves are used to make medicines as well as use for commercial purposes.

• Black Dammer is used in the manufacture of varnishes, bottling vax and as a substitute for Burgundy Pitch in medicinal plasters.

• The most common use of Black Dammer is as incense and as insect repellent.
• It is used for fever and cough
